Manuel Millares Sall, better known as Manolo Millares, was a painter and engraver canary sigle XX, born in Las Palmas on January 17, 1926 and died in Madrid on August 14, 1972.
Group co-founder of "El Paso" in 1957, in its early painted landscapes, self-portraits and figure paintings whose style reminiscent of Van Gogh. Since 1949 he is dedicated to abstract painting. He performed his works with leaking sacks, burlap and ropes in which sticking objects taken from the trash. The materials cited were then covered with layers of paint dripping.
