"In dialogues with Dalí"
It's our 4th year participating at Art Miami and for this edition we have developed a museum-quality booth focused on Salvador Dalí curated by Ricard Mas, expert in the artist.
Text by the curator:
"The history of art revolves around a series of referential figures. Salvador Dalí is one of them. As are his compatriots Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Joan Miró, Juan Gris or Antoni Tàpies. And also men of the world such as Alexander Calder and Marc Chagall. They have succeeded in becoming universal because their work delves into the roots of the human condition: desire, death, fear, hate and, why not? laughter.
For this occasion, we have established several dialogues among them, with Salvador Dalí at the centre, to discover the ground bass that inspires them, as well as their silent and exquisite connections. A series of universal concerns that, seen from these immense creators’ particular point of view, both enriches the way we look at things and gives us a better understanding of the roots of contemporary culture."
