El pasado 9 de junio el expresidente de la Generalitat de Catalunya Pasqual Maragall visitó "Mayoral, galeria d'art" en motivó de la exposición de Joan Fontcuberta "Resiliencia" y de la conferencia que el mismo artista y el famoso fotógrafo Gervasio Sánchez hicieron delante de un centenar de personas sobre la fotografía y las guerras.

Belgium’s oldest and most important antiques fair Foire des Antiquaires de Belgique will take place this January at the central Tour & Taxis site in Brussels, where it was successfully re-located in 2004. A new name for 2009 ‘Brussels Antiques & Fine Arts Fair’ (BRAFA) reflects the increasing international focus as year-on-year the fair attracts more exhibitors and visitors from Europe and further afield.

The fair has become a benchmark event for European art markets, boosted in the last decade by the presence of the European Commission which has contributed significantly to the importance of Brussels as an international centre.

FERIARTE, Fair of Art and Antiques, will convert, one more year, Madrid into the center of the antique and decorative art and of painting, par excellence. Its thirtieth edition, that will take place from the 21st to the 29th of November in the pavilion 10 of Feria de Madrid, constitutes a very important artistic event, addressed to all the publics in which the best Spanish galerists and antique dealers will meet, as well as a selection of the most important international ones.

In total, there will be congregated 160 participants, that will display for its direct sale more than 18.000 pieces of high artistic value, belonging to different styles, periods and specialities, with a minimum of 100 years of age.

Odd and exclusive pieces that become this fair into the main exponent of Old Art in Spain and, since more than a decade, also a meeting of compulsory visit for the collectionists and the fans of high quality painting of the 19^th and 20^th centhury.

La Galería Mayoral ha participado en el XVIII Salón de Arte y Antigüedades de las Drassanes Reials que se ha celebrado entre el 17 y el 25 de octubre de 2009 de 11.00 a 21.00 horas. La feria está situada en el fastuoso marco arquitectónico de las Drassanes de Barcelona y se puede admirar y adquirir antigüedades y objetos de arte, fruto de una exclusiva selección de anticuarios procedentes de España y de Europa.

Gallery Mayoral, Francesc Mestre Art and entities connected with up to seven Agramunt, the village adopted by Josep Guinovart, with music composed by Carles Santos, have taken place in Barcelona a great tribute to the author.

This exciting event has been conducted within the first Mayoral Gallery exhibition devoted to the author, with 16 works of large format and half years from 1970 to 2007, where we represented some of the most important moments of their trajectory.

Last Saturday 16th of May was "The museums and galleries night". So, as an exceptional occasion the Mayoral Gallery opened its doors from 7pm to 1am. Hundreds of visitors came to the Gallery, where they enjoyed the exhibition "From Chillida to Sixeart" with a guided visit leaded  by the art critic Daniel General Miracle and the unforeseen visit of Sixeart, one of the main protagonist of the exhibition.
